A New Era

Rissa was sat in her apartment, on the wide window sill of the large bay window which looked out over the whole of Coruscant. The sun was rising, bathing the room in pink light. After a moment, she sighed then got up from the window to get ready to go out. She changed into a sky blue top and dark blue trousers which she tucked into her knee length brown boots. Next, she pulled her hair back into a plait and headed out of the apartment into the open air.

She had some errands to run before visiting her parents on her native planet of New Alderaan for a special event. Firstly, she had to go see her brother, Anakin, who had requested to speak with her about something then she had to take a couple of refugees into the Outer Rim to a planet named Zhar.

She hopped into her speeder and headed for the place where her ship was kept.

igorai was working in the hanger trying to fix the Jedi starfighter from the clone wars for Luke skywalker when he heard rissa's speeder

"Hey Igorai," she grinned, parking her speeder up, "you alright?"

"kor do do nih it og" igorau said

"Come on," said Rissa, "you know I can't understand a word of your native language yet. I may be the offspring of a royal but that doesn't mean I have the capabilites of a droid."

"sorry rissa i thought you were learning" igorai said

"Yeah, sorry," she said, "I've just got a lot to do today, trying to remember it all."

"so what space adventure are we going on today" igorai asked

"Well, I've gotta go see my brother at the new Jedi Temple on Yavin 4 first then I'm transporting a couple of old friends to Zhar before heading over to New Alderaan for a large, posh gathering my mother is holding," she said, all in one breath.

"oh i need to go to yavin 4 anyway to see your uncle abot this jedi starfight in fact i need to take it to him i got it working" igorai explained

"Okay," she said, picking up her pack from inside her speeder, "I'll see you there then." She flashed him a smile then climbed inside her ship and set off.

igorai followed her in the JSF

It took a little longer that usual to get to Yavin 4 but she got there in the end. Anakin was waiting for her in the hanger.

"hello there anikan do you where master skywalker is?" igorai asked

"The last time I saw my Uncle, he was in the library," smiled Anakin, "we can walk and talk," he said Rissa.
They headed for the library area.

"ah gor di oh it ho master skywalker" igorai said "gor di oh it ho to you too Igorai is the JSF finished?" luke asked "yes luke" igorai replied

"Hey Uncle," smiled Rissa at Luke. She had finished her important conversation with Anakin and he had headed off to his room.

"hows my favoite neice nowadays?" luke asked

"I'm doing fine," she grinned, "are you coming to New Alderaan tonight?"

"yes i am coming igorai is giving me a lift he has some buissness to do with your father" luke said

"Oh," said Rissa, "you never told me that," she said to Igorai.

"its a smuggerling buissness i'm hoping to get an invite to the party after the job" igorai smiled

"Oh, right," said Rissa. Han had never given up his old ways. "You might get to see me all kitted out in a dress," she chuckled, "that'd be a first for most people."

"inculding me i might wear those jedi robes i've been keeping even though i'm not a jedi" igorai said

"Mmm hmm," said Rissa, "well, I've got something else to take care of first, so I'll see you two there." She gave Luke a hug then headed back to the hanger.
